Hello, World
Greetings, my friends! Here I am, yet another blogger on the web that absolutely nobody cares about! Well, like all of my fellow aspiring persuaders, I certainly hope that you will care about me soon! It would appear to be customary to provide all of my loyal readers out there (all 3 of you) with a mission statement or a post describing exactly what it is that I will deem worthy of writing about on this site. To be perfectly honest, I am inclined to write about anything. My primary passions are politics and religion, although not in the typical sense. Yes, I am a strong-willed, passionate American with well-educated, thought upon opinions that you will certainly know and read in almost every post. But, know this. I never find myself writing more on a subject other than general stupidity. That’s right, boys and girls. You can bet that when the ignorance of the world shows its face in the news, I’ll be here to ridicule it and send it home crying to its mommy. I hate stupidity.
Let me make you a promise. I promise, with all of my heart, mind, and soul that I will do everything in my power to either inspire you to new actions, persuade you to open your mind to new thoughts, or just straight-up piss you off. You see, I’ve learned something about how Americans are these days. Most Americans are utterly convinced that they know precisely what is best for the country despite the fact that the highlight of so many of their professional resumes involve a brief period where they shoveled crap in Louissiana. I’ve become utterly convinced that the majority of the ignorant and uneducated have no desire to be anything but ignorant and uneducated. There are a few exceptions, but I emphasize the word few.
I know precisely what you are thinking. You want to know how some random blogger out there can have such a scathing, derogatory view of so many Americans’ opinions because of their lack of qualifications. I’m glad you thought that. Let me explain. I am an educator. I am not an English or Journalism educator, so forgive my horriffic writing. I am or have been an educator in the fields of History, Political Science, Mathmatics, Foreign Language, Science, and Fine Arts. My main emphasis while working on my education degree was in Fine Arts. This grants me a certain feeling of entitlement that I don’t grant a lot of people. I am very educated (8 years of college tends to make you feel that way). I am also fairly experienced, although I admit that I am young and not as wise as I should be. As result of all of those indoctrination sessions… I mean… classes, I learned more than I ever intended to learn.
I have this horrible habit of developing opinions based on history, science, statistics, and other things we products of American Academia are expected to consider when forming an opinion, and, as a result, I expect people to consider those things when they form or express their opinions. You might be entitled to an opinion and the right to express it, but you are not entitled to any level of respect from me for doing so. So all of you Holocaust deniers who don’t know how to read a history book or visit Auschwitz, you can stuff the void-of-any-intelligent-thought dribble that you call an opinion. Believe me, I don’t care, and neither does anyone that actually matters. So, if you come to this site and start ranting about some nonsensical crap that you have absolutely no factual or even speculative basis for, prepare to feel the effects of earning my ire.
Now that I have made all of you so happy to have met me, I’m going to start working on my posts. I certainly hope I hear from all of you. Understand that I am thick-skinned. You can differ with me on opinion all you want, and I’ll respect you for it, if you can back up your statements with some semblance of intellectual thought. So, I bid you farewell for now and look forward to our uncivil discourse in the near future! Check back soon for the newest posts on news and topics that matter to you!
